Nuclear bombs used to be stored in Singapore - who would have imagined that but its TRUE!

After listening to Professor Farrell's talk on Britain's military plans in Southeast Asia in the Cold War, I was stunned. He had been to the British Archives and taken a look at secret documents there that revealed that British nuclear bombs were stored at underground bunkers in Singapore at Tengah Airbase and on board British aircraft carriers docked at Sembawang Naval Base from 1954-1966! Just imagine that had ONLY one of these nuclear bombs exploded, ALL of us would NOT be here today! The Cold War between the democratic and communist countries involved Singapore, as Singapore was Britain's main military base in its fight against communism. There were also many pro-communists in Singapore at that time which worried the British. Britain had actually planned to use the nuclear bombs stored in Singapore against communist China and North Vietnam if these countries dared to invade Thailand, Malaya and Singapore. These are facts of history that are unknown until now and they show again that history is NOT "dead" but "alive". There are still so many things we don't know, much information to be uncovered and myths to be debunked by new historical discoveries.
